Topic : I completed payment and submitted I-539 for an extended stay of my parents due to Covid19
Pooja
I completed payment and submitted i-539 on April 30th to extend my parents stay in US due to the covid situation, so far I have just received the notice. I have heard from relatives and friends that USCIS never sends an approval notice and i should keep the received receipts as proof and let them stay. My questions are: Is that the case with others too? Can they legally stay if the application is still in the review status?
Hi, I am also in same situation . Below are my open questions. Can you comment or suggest please Hi Friends, My mother is in B2 VISA and I-94 expires on 12/04. I already filed the extension I-539 and the current status is - Case Received. Considering this situation 1. Can my mother stay until we have a decision?2. How long she can stay in US as the form is still in Received status Looking forward for any comments. thanks
Suchi
I have been in this situation, your status is legal and valid as long as an extension is filed and you are waiting for a approval/reject notice.
